Your repair facility can file a claim using our online claim submission form on our website or by simply emailing us at claims@choiceautoprotection.com. All repairs must have prior authorization before a repair can begin so please do not have the repair facility begin a repair without an approval from our team.
Most everyone has roadside coverage from their auto insurance company so in order to offer the most cost effect service contract and limited warranty programs we removed the cost and coverage to something nearly every customer already has. Paying for something you most likely already have seemed silly, and we don't do silly when it comes to money.
We will work with any licensed repair facility in the United States, we can pay by ACH, Check or Credit Card. Payment is only made after the work has been preformed and we have received copies of required documents.
We suggest going back to the Dealer or Lender that you bought coverage through and inquire about adding additional time and miles with a new policy. As long as you still have remaining coverage on your current policy, you are able to purchase additional coverage.
We will work with any licensed repair facility in the United States. We can pay by ACH, Check or Credit Card. Payment is only made after the work has been preformed and we have received copies of required documents. Some maintenance providers might now accept our coverage and choose not to work with us, however Choice Auto Protection is willing to work with any licensed repair facility in the US.
If you purchase a policy from a Dealer or Lender, there is a required waiting period of 45 days and 1,250 miles before a claim can be submitted. We do not cover pre-existing issues, so please understand any issues that arise after the date of purchase and before the waiting period has expired will not be covered unless you purchased day one coverage. Even if you purchased day one coverage we cannot cover any pre-existing issues that your vehicle might have had prior to the date you purchased your vehicle. Service contracts act like any other insurance policy, you can't buy coverage after an issue has occurred and coverage can begin until prior issues have been addressed. Your Dealer should have performed a vehicle inspection prior to sale and issues at that time should have been addressed. Not all of the more than 2,000 parts could have been inspected prior to sale however a proper used car inspection should catch most issues that will arise prior to the expiration of the waiting period.
